We have issues with who can review, or even see, individual course evaluation data.  Do you have procedures in place to enforce data privacy?

Our business rules driven system enforces your hierarchy of data availability.  In other words, if only your department chair can see an individual instructors evaluations, our system ensures that rule when reports are generated.

 

Can CSS capture open-ended comments on paper surveys?

We have several ways of doing this.  The most cost effective is presenting the comments related to a course section as image clips on PDF documents, sorted by instructor.  We also have a system that breaks comments into Formative vs. Summative to constructively help instructors.

 

Is doing on-line evaluations cheaper than doing paper evaluations?

Typically yes, but without proper safeguards in place to make sure you get a valid response rate and data, your on-line results could be worthless and in this case worthless is expensive.

 

Will it satisfy my faculty?

Our reporting is easy to use and effectively and securely communicates results and comments.

Can your processes free up my staff and eliminate the hassles?

We do all the heavy lifting, from personalizing forms with your course data to inserting evaluation forms into classroom packets.  All paper forms are coded to course section, and therefore do not require header sheets nor specific sorting on return to CSS.  All reporting delivered as PDF’s sorted to department and instructor, and/or using our CE-Vue™ on-line system.
